Santa & Cole M64 Color LED Bulb Pendant Lamp

Designed by Miguel Milá in 1964 and awarded the Gold Delta that same year, the M64 is a defining piece in the history of Spanish design, prized for its sensual, bold and serene formal language. Ahead of its 70th anniversary, Santa & Cole invited Barcelona-based colorist and artist Claudia Valsells to reinterpret the icon through an in-depth colour study. The result is the M64 Color collection: eight tones — off white, ultramarine blue, cream yellow, British racing green, pure red, soft stone, deep black and reddish orange.

This is the LED Bulb version of the M64 Color, the European (CE) model. Unlike the original polished aluminium and brass editions, the shade is painted aluminium with a glossy exterior that deepens the colour and hides imperfections, and a matte white interior that softens the light. It hangs on a 3 m black cable from a single black metal circular canopy with a matte finish (Ø 5 x H 8 cm) and takes a standard E27 screw fitting. The LED bulb is included, giving 470 lm at 3.4 W in a warm 2700 K.

The shade measures Ø 22 x H 16 cm and the lamp weighs 1.2 kg. For indoor use, made in Spain. Note that Santa & Cole also offers the M64 Color with a built-in LED capsule and a choice of five canopies — that is a separate model; this one is the bulb version with the compact black canopy.
