Artemide Miconos Wall Lamp

The Artemide Miconos Wall Lamp includes a lustrous, mechanical component to contemporary lighting designs. It includes a blown globe of transparent glass that enables the inward bulb to shimmer forward. Adding to the general shine is the Polished Chrome finish on the wall plate, bolster section and other metal surfaces. Planned by Ernesto Gismondi.

Since 1959, Artemide has made a wide cluster of modern day table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and suspensions. Innovatively progressed, and with styles extending from spotless and refined to sculptural and vanguard, numerous Artemide designs - particularly the Tolomeo and Tizio- - have become symbols of contemporary lighting design.

A wall light with Space Age and mechanical detail, the Artemide Miconos Wall Lamp from Artemide comfortably addresses the value and limited nature of light. A backplate and bolster arm in matching, chromed steel expands a suspended globe diffuser in transparent glass handblown in Italy. This Ernesto Gismondi configuration can be mounted to any standard electrical intersection box and gives an immediate, encompassing light to enlighten propelled living spaces. The Artemide Miconos Wall Lamp does not have a battery and as such lacks features to store power. It requires a continuous input voltage between the ranges of 220 to 240 volts for it usage.
